I have a set of toro gang mowers. Where can I find service info? How do you sharpen and adjust the knives?

I worked in a Toro turf shop in the late 1970's.

It takes a precision real grinder and an operator to grind the reals and bed knives.
when they are assembled They need back lapped and adjusted. The settings are so important to prevent rifling and premature wear on the reals.
Not to mention many need the case halfs split and sealed. It is really a job for service facility that can manage them. A toro commercial shop could look at them and probably give you a flat rate repair per unit.
They typically run winter Specials grinding reals. They can also show you how to keep and check adjustment in the field.
