I am in search of a repair manual for a Case model 646 garden tractor. Any help or knowledge of this machine would be greatly appreciated. The tractor seems to be losing hyd. pressure to the transmission in high gear only. It does have plenty of pressure to the loader. Please email me with any help.

What kind of pressure are you talking about? These units are best to troubleshoot with either a pressure gauge or flow meter. If you have the rear hydraulic PTO, you can Tee into the hydraulics and that will tell a lot. Biggest problem with these is the hydraulic oil breaks down and gives a 'soft feel' to the hydraulics.

Go to this yahoo club and ask here, thats how I got my manual.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/casegardentractors/ As to the losing pressure in high only, you should check the travel of the foot pedal to see if something is worn and not moving far enough.Could also be the hydro motor on the rearend getting bad.
