Looking for a paint code for the not too old Craftsman Silver/grey paint. Rattle can like Duplicolor would be great. I tried but the cans all look alike, well at least the caps!

As best as I can read it says 1154 LIGHT SLATE (M) on the can. I got iy at K Mart if I recall. It is a close match. There was another color at the time just one shade darker that would may be the exact match. I still like this shade as it matches the slightly faded areas of the tractor I have. I got this one on a garage sale with original engine/36" deck/36"snowblower/chains and an IH Cub Cadet weatherbreaker that my son now has for $175.00. It runs great only I may sell it as I have two Cub Cadets, a Rugg and a one car garage.

I used the Duplicolor Slate color on my 1984 Craftsman LT1036.

Thanks Dennis,
Was there a number on that can? I was shocked that there were so many "silvers" on the Duplicolor rack. I guess I'm looking for a light grey or silver. I was also surprised that the local Sears service center said that they don't carry touch up cans. Like for the GTs at tractor dealers.
