Any info will be helpfull, like what years were they made, what horse power, type of engines used ect. It does have a 3pt. cat. 0 lift, and was told that it has a 6 ft. deck. It's body style looks like an AC 160, 170, etc. Very neat looking for I've never seen one before. Also the asking price is $3200.00, is this a fair price? Will more than likely post more questions after I go look at it.

Thanks

sound like the 616 ac you are looking at is a 16hp onan cck eng they were the first the same as simplicity early models all were great tractors way ahead of its time 3pt down pressure some had 2 spool hyd lift. center mower was 60" driven off front elect pto can mow 3-5 acres an hour open going the next models were 620 ac 720 ac with 20 hp onan simplicity used 9020 with 20 hp onan both tractors were almost the same part for part except the hoods price sounds ok but it depends what with it and what kind of shape its in you can spend a lot of money quick if hydro is bad or if front and rear elect clutches or bad. sold at least 10-15 new ac and simp and also had repair for them most were sold to landscapers with loaders and rear tillers box scrappers etc. great tractors

Don't know if you're aware of this site, below, or not -- but it's the best place to get your questions answered on these specific machines. Check both the Simplicity & Allis-Chalmers sections of the site, since Simplicity sold the same tractor as a 4040/4041. When you have specific questions, you can ask them in the clubhouse....
