I seem to have an electrical problem with my starting circuit on my Case 444. Would anyone have any hints and tips or a diagram to solve this problem? Battery, fuse, solonoid and starter is fine. Suspect interlock switch or wiring. What points could i jumper to test?

I had much the same problem with a 224. First thing you will need is a wireing diagram. If you do not have one, drop me an email. One thing the safty circt is a grounding circut. You want it open. On mine it was a black wire to the seliond. Mine ended up being a bad ampmeater. All the power goes through it. Any more info on what its doing, or what lead up to it? Feel free to drop me a line, and I can walk you through it.

Is your parking brake off? Sometimes the parking brake will pull the travel level off the nylon rub block and then it won't start. Try pulling up on the lever and then try it. If that doesn't work, try jumping across the PTO micro switch. If it still doesn't work, relax and get a long 1/4" drive extension and remove the travel rub block and see what's going on there. Of course when you do these test, make sure the PTO is in the off position and that the transaxle is in neutral. Hope this helps.
