Hello-

I just bought my neighbors old coast to coast 11 hp lawn tractor. I do not know how old it is, but would guess about 20 years? It has a Briggs and Stratton cast iron bore engine that says "400 cc" on it, 7 speeds forward and reverse (belt drive, I guess), 38 inch mower deck. That's about all I have really looked at for now. I have several questions... the front end has plastic bushings that hold the wheel spindles, they are weak looking and one has certainly failed resulting in the metal spindle having worn. Are parts available? I do not have the tire sizes with me now, but are ag tires available for tractors this size? Who manufactured these for coast to coast? Is an electric pto possible? What implements are available?

Any info on this type of lawn tractor would be a great help.

Nick

It was made by MTD. Parts are still avaiable.Coast-to-Coast is no longer in business. They were bought out by True Value Hardware,3 or so years ago. They can still get you parts.Ag tires are avaiable. There are several places on the net you can get them. There was a mower deck and some models had a snow blade. But thats about it.
