Been stewing about getting one to clean up the small twigs, left over leaves and junk from the winter. Getting to the age that hand raking is wearing me out quick. I appreciate your comments :).

Hey thanks for the input :). I think I'm gonna try the 38" from agri-fab that northern tools carry. Someone on another board mentioned them and advised they sweep nice and out lasted the tractor he had :). Again thanks ! ..

check out parker sweepers nice unit can get repairs, if you have a lawn tractor they make or you can make a windrower att. puts everything in a windrow, make or get the offset hitch, for spring clean up drop deck down low mow windrow and sweep one time over works great sold several need a place you can back up and dump from seat, with a large yard you might need a tea break or something other

I don't have one, but i've been told that Ingersol has the best one. I've also been told that you can rebuild an Ingersol once it's wore out, and most of the others you just throw away. Robert

I use a 42" lawn sweeper, threw away my rakes! Mine works great, but they don't like rough ground or long sticks. It works best after mowing when the grass is all the same height and any small sticks have been shredded by the mower.

have you ever considered putting a lawn vac on your tractor to pickup leaves and grass clippings,i put a agri-fab unit on my toro unit as i mow and cleanup numerous lots in the inner city of des moines ia, i pickup over 400 trailer loads a year for our garden and flower beds, you might want to check out the cyclonerake unit when your done it can be folded up for storage.
