I am looking at a 1958 Wheelhorse garden tractor. I would like to purchase this tractor. It was restored probably 15-20 years ago. It is in very good condition and running (original 4hp motor) It even has the original tires and mower deck. This tractor is complete including all the sheet metal guards over the belts and moving parts. Can anyone give me an idea of the value of this machine? What should I offer the seller? Please respond. Thanks, Paul in Rochester, NY

Paul , To give a fair market value to a old Wheel Horse a picture and a good detailed discription would be needed . Price depends on where the Wheel Horse is being sold , how much of the tractor is original and if it was restored with the correct parts . There was about 20,000 RJ-58 and RJ-59 made , who knows how many are left . This is a highly collectible Wheel Horse model because the RJ-58 was the first mass produced Wheel Horse model and the first year for the famous Unidrive transmission . If you can e-mail me a picture and a discription I can help you further .
