Help! I want to put the 44A deck from my 1200 on my 1282.The 1282 originally had a 38" deck with a 5/8 belt.44a deck has a 1/2 belt.I've got all the hangers figured out,now I just need to know what new pulley I need on the 44a and then what belt.Would changing the pulley be the easiest and cheapest way to convert to the bigger deck?I'm thinking maybe I need a pulley from a 44c or something along that line.?????

Hacksaw, Use the pulley from the 44C but you need the lift frame for a 44 or 50 mower, the 38 is different. The front pulley set is different also, they angle off to the left side of the tractor where the 38 pulley goes to the middle.
