Hi all, Just curious if someone could give me a little help here about some parts. Found a tractor for sale with teh following wrong with it:

needs wiring harness needs to be repainted
needs top neck on gas tank
needs seat replace tires are weather checked steering wheels has slight bend needs front grill screen
deck needs center spindle shaft repaired or tapped on top to connect pulley which is still good

also needs end cap on deck and 1 cover

I assume like tires, steering wheel bend, grill screen, seat, gas tank neck and repainting aren't serious.

but as far as the other couple items (wiring harness, taping pulley etc.) How difficult is it to find these parts and how much do they run? ANy ideas on any of these items is greatly appriciated. Thank you all in advance.

Ebay is one place to find parts ,but wiring harness deck bearings I think Id get new.Where I live there are some cadet dealers and a old IH dealer and on the same parts the old IH dealer is a lot cheaper and 5 times faster like wiring harness 45.00 vs 70.00 and deck bearings 68.00 vs 92.00 ether way the 147 is a great machine and if restored right will last forever.

Search on ebay under "cadetman". He has lots of parts for sale. RAY @717-336-3411. Note-these are good usable parts.

only item I can help with is the center deck pulley. if its the same as the deck on my 126 then the new price from Cub cadet is $98. the originals mounted from the bottom and the new from the top. There was a slight hight difference between new and old.
