Not sure who to tell, I figured I would post a message here.

I've been trying to get an old Sears LT10E to run lately. Today I dissasembled the carb(seriously old school. The thing has a float tank). After unclogging every needle and venturi, it fired up and screamed. Tomorrow I will try to get the carb settings correct. Then, if I can make it go in reverse, life will be good.

CR.

Hi Charles

If I remember back to the LT10 I had the carb
is something like this.. Main jet- in to stop, then out 1&1/2 turns, idle jet (top of carb body)
in then out about 1&1/4 - this should get it to behave long enought to warm the engine and make fine adjustments.. Reverse - if a gear type transaxel, the shift lever pin ( other end of the
shift lever inside trans) is easily bent if forced. remove from trans and check rod and gear slider(thing pin fits into) good luck
Bob
