I have an older riding mower with a 10hp Craftsman motor mfg. by Tecumseh. It starts up and runs fine for 15 to 20 minutes then dies and will not restart for 15 to 20 minutes.
I bought it used just a few weeks ago and the seller told me he had just rebuilt the motor.
Any ideas?

The fact that the problem occurs with such regular frequency means it's most likely one of two things...

1) The vent in the gas cap is plugged

2) An ignition coil and/or spark module is failing

Easy enough to figure it out... next time it happens, quickly remove the gas cap and (try to) restart it.
