I was recently given an older Dynamark 8hp riding mower. The mower is in perfect shape and it runs great, but I can't figure out how to mount the deck. I think I am missing some parts.

There is a cable in the front of the deck, what does it hook to? Thanks for the help.

I inherited an old Dynamark six years ago and the little critter has just chugged away until I lost the pin that connects the mower deck to the adjusting lever at the rear of the deck.

I don't see where the cable you're talking about connects, but mine might have been damaged in the carnage after the support pin was lost.

The lawn mower EMTs are coming to take it away tomorrow and make it well again. They figure it will be gone about a week. If you don't have an answer by then, I'll be happy to crawl around and see what I can find.

Learning more about the little guy would be good for me anyway.

all best--Kay

It has been a while, but as best I can recall it hooks to a rod connected to the rear adjusting wheels. I think it has a clevis pin arrangement that hooks to a threaded rod hooking up to an arm on the rear adjusting wheel axle thingy. You adjust it to keep the deck level in different positions.
It raises/lowers the front of the deck as the deck height is adjusted. Sorry I can't be more help.

I have two dynamarks and ben is absolutely right the cale runs from the back wheel adjuster to the bar on the front that pins in the front of the tractor so as you lower the wheels to raise the back of the deck it pulls the front upward to match the back height and keep the deck level tho you will find more decks out there with broken cables than working ones

Helping a neighbor rebuild the deck on a 12 HP Noma Dynamark (B3812-130) Does anyone have a picture or schematic of the mounting hardware on top of the deck. Am mainly confused by the clutch/idler pulley and belt configeration.

Thanks in advance
