I have an old dynamark with a Briggs & Stratton 11 HP motor. The Murray folks have a parts list, but no manual. Does anyone have a manual I can get a copy of? I'll pay a reasonable amount. The model number on the plate is 5188-3900, s/n 041604, code 2095. Thanks!

I am in need of some help, I just took ownership of this jewel and was going to strip it and make a workhouse out of it for pushing snow and such, I'm from kansas so this would have given it a workout. Anyway I have no way of even knowing the year it was made, And I need to find a manual for the tractor, rearend everything I can get. I have started to strip and decided to make it all functional again instead sort of a new hobbie It should be a lot of fun. All I know is that its a dynamark 8hp 36" cut rider model # 5285-3300. Serial # 6-365918 that was made in Des Moines Iowa, And is has a registration # of 5023 all the original buck tags are still on the tractor and the original motor is also there 8hp 4cycle briggs and stratton. I had to tear all the wiring out so far it was shot due to mice I guess. Can anyone please help me?

I recenly picked up a Dynamark with the same model #. I have one problem, maybe one of you guys will have the answer. The mower will not move when it is in gear, unless I lift the backend up, then the tires spin until I apply pressure to them, then they stop. Any ideas, Thanks.

Hi Tim,

I don't know if you have learned of this, yet, but I just found an area which may be of interest to you, and other owners, maybe.

Hi all,

I just bought a used Dynamark 18/42 lawn tractor - of which, I was told, is at least 20 yrs old. My first call to Murray - for a manual - was fruitless. On my second call to them (initially under the impression that I had another concern which handled the Dynamark line) I made contact wih another worker who was very nice, and who had put me on hold for a very considerable period of time (I, at first, assumed that we had been disconnected)before coming back with information that she had found an operators manual & parts list - which she was going to send out to me, free of charge. Maybe the some service or repair applications will be the same, across the board, between certain models. If you can't find a manual, contact me and I will try to help all that I can, by getting some info to you.

I have an older dynamark lawn tractor model 5188-0300. I am looking for the part # for a spring that attaches to the mower deck that engages the mower blades. The tractor is a 10/36. Thanks

My dad recently bought an older Dynamark model: 3611-3401 code:6111, and the ignition switch went out. I would like to know if anyone knows either where to get a wiring diagram or a manual.

Thanks, Ryan

Thanks! And thanks for reminding me about that (people being able to help)I did manage to get a parts list, and it's helpful. I have some other followups to check out, but I may get back to you.

You looking for the mower manual, or the B&S manual?

I don't have either one. I have since learned that this is a model 1136. I mostly need the motor manual, since the mower is pretty easy to grasp. I'll gladly pay for both.

I went to the Briggs and Stratton website and pulled down a PDF of the manual for the motor. It has most everything about maintenance etc. The only thing that I can see on the mover that is not fairly straight forward is the transmission. That I would love to get a manual on.

That's a good lead! I'll go there now. The parts list I got has some manufacturer refference for the tranny. I'll check and see what I can get for you.
