can anyone tell me what could of happen to my 105. i was driving alond when all of a sudden the rear end locked up.try to push it the wheels just slide. thanks for any help you can give me don

You could have sheared a coupling or a key or a spirol pin in the shaft from the engine to the hydro. Not quite sure how yours is coupled up, but verify the the input shaft on the hydro is actually turning. There is a pin in the hydro charge pump that is known to shear. Does your tractor have hydraulic lift? Did I see in another post where it killed the engine when it locked up?Could you have lost the oil in the system and locked up the charge pump, or the main pump?

that could be the problem. went back in about an hour and it started right up and i drove it in the shed. i just overhauled motor that much runs like a kitten. thanks for the info i'll look into that. no it doesn't have the lift.
