On my new engine for my cub cadet 73 the front of the engine has 2 pulleys. the first one i took off. Now how do i take off the pulley that runs the starter/generator belt. I have taken out the 2 set screws. What kind of puller can i buy or make without bending the pulley up and will take it off?

F.M.
Once you have the set screws out you should see a hole in the ring in the center of the pulley that looks like it's been beat on with a punch, that is locking the starter/generator pulley on you will have to rotate it one way or the other and it will pop right off. Then you SHOULD be able to slide the pulley off the crank.
Be patient and don't pull on the pulley with enough pushing and pulling by hand with plenty of penetrating oil it will come off.
Good luck

Mike.
