Drive Clutch removal

How do I remove the drive clutch disc from a 1971 yard boss GT-1600,have removed the pins from either side of disk but how do i relieve spring pressure?it's actually a mtd but same clutch assembly as yard-boss.any help would be appreciated grass is getting long and wife getting mad.

FIRST LOOSEN BOLT THAT SERVES CHAIN TO A FORK LIKE DEVICE WHICH IS OPERATED BY PEDAL,THEN REMOVE PIVOT PIN ON FORK (PRESUMING THIS IS LIKE MY TURF TRAC,WHICH WAS MADE BY MTD ALSO.)DISK SHOULD THEN COME OFF ALONG WITH FRICTION PLATES.. I ASSUME 1600 MEANS IT HAS A 16 HP ENGINE(BRIGGS?) GOOD LUCK...
