Cub Cabet 6 hp

Have older model Cub Cabet with 6 HP Kohler engine, Its show, where can I get a rod and piston? I think I can get the crank reworked if need but, it may be ok. Any ideas appreciated.

Getting shouldn't be a problem, affording...that's another question. Kohler used the same crank in everything from 4-16HP, new it's about $200, not many places rework them. Pistons are $35-$45 as are the rods, add in the gasket sets and it's usually better to get the whole rebuild kit. A word of advice, call around! I recently reworked my 16HP and couldn't believe the price differences on some of the parts. I had to drive around but saved $125 for my trouble. Dennis H.

Can Dennis H give me info on where I can order a rebuild kit for a Kohler 16hp that I have on a 169?
