I am in the process of restoring a Bantam tractor. My father and grandfather each owned one back in the late fifties. One of them was sold along the line. The one that was sold had no fenders over the wheels only the gaurds on the sides. The one I am working on has full fenders over the wheels. I would like some back ground info. I am in need of an origional size steering wheel and origional air cleaner. The tractor model number is A308375, serial number TD-1456A261. The Briggs & Stratton Engin is Type 202595, Serial number 308375. Any help would be helpful.

What are you asking for them?
Also, I have one with the small cast fenders,
I could use a few small parts.

I live in York, PA

Yes, the Lawn tractor series is similar to the Sabre of Deere; however the Scotts Garden Tractor 25 HP, 54" is more like the GT235 Gaeden tractor series of Deere. I am just concerned a bit about service.

A friend of mine sold one similar to this last year. It had 3 wheels, 2 rear. The front wheel was the drive. To go in reverse you turned the wheel 180 degrees. As far as the year I don't know. Don
