I have recently found a model 55 john deere riding mower. The fellow that bought it new recently passed away and a good friend of mine has it now. He seems to thank it is pretty valuable and it might be. the mower hasent run in a while but has been stored inside all its life. It is 100% complete and in great shape. he offered it to me today for $200.00 and I thank that is a little high, but i dont know. I already have a model 60 and a 112 and the little 55 would look great with thease.do yo fellows thank this is a good deal and thease tractors are bringing this kind of money i dident give but 300.00 for my 112 and it ran great and the 60 was give to me even though i got about 200.00 in it now. What would you fellows do,I'm not a collector but sure like these little tractors thanks David

I sold a nice one last year for 125 dollars. It was not very practical and only good for mowing a real small lot. It was good for hauling a trailer around at swap meets though.
