I have a Deere 210 with a single Kohler that needs to be bored 10 over. The Kohler manual talks about a hone with coarse and fine stones that will do the job in a drill press. The only hones I have come across are the glaze breakers with fine stones for finish honing.

Any ideas where a guy could latch on to one of these?

Thanks.

Jerry,

You could probably hone it out but there are risks that the bore is our of round which honing will not always correct. I recommend that you take it to a local engine or machine shop for the boring operaiton.

John

Jerry, try your local automotive machine shop. Some NAPA dealers have a machine shop in the facility. You should be able to find the honing tool
you need there. Or, they should be able to tell you where you can find
the right tool.
Good Luck

Brian
