Hello, Does anyone know of a good "salvage" yard for used Briggs engines? Specifically, I am looking for a used (Or cheap) gas tank for a Briggs model 100202 Type 014401 Code 6601271. It is on a 4hp Montgomery Ward Garden Mark tiller. The part number of the tank from the manual is either 494592 (Which superceded 297600), 494609 (Which superceded 390160, 397648) I do not know why there are two numbers for the tank. The both end up at gas tanks on the Briggs parts website.

Thanks,
Steve

No, you're not allowed in yard - exactly to stop that sort of thing. Okay, and insurance reasons also.

See thats no good. Whats the point of having a salvage yard then. It should be called a used parts store.

They are losing a ton of money this way.

There's one somewhere in Gilbertsville i think that lets you walk around in there.
