Thanks guys for the replies. I called a couple places and turns out John Deere dealer had what I needed in stock and was lowest on prices (I was suprised). I've since found a lower priced store, our local farm & barn. But there was a WIDE range of pricing on filters. One outfit wanted to charge me $11 for an oil filter ...the same thing (Toyota Engine size) I can buy at Napa for $3.50.

e-mail me what you need and I will get you some prices. I try to be reasonable on prices, I do not sell myself short, but on parts, I am ususlaly the most reasonable in the town I am in, I just buy right and sell right. I also sell aftermarket to save people some money.

Best place in my opinion is a dealer, since I am one. I wouldn't give those box stores much more than a piece of mind. If you looking for older K series parts, try a Stens dealer. If there newer then stick with a kohler dealer. EVERY dealer is making the same money on the parts. If a guy wants to sell himself short that's his problem. My 2 cents.
