Local dealer has a 318 with a mower deck and I believe another piece of equipment. Not quite sure what. He was asking $1000 and I wasn't interested at the time, but got to wondering later-would this be a good buy or not. All hydraulic with 4 front remotes (loader?). You guys all seem to be pretty much up on JD values so thought I would ask-Thanks, Jack

thats a great price if its running but if it's upwards of 1400 to 1600 hours its gonna be eating a crankshaft.don't know wht but thats about the time onans break em i have an old bobcat 444 and at 1444 hours bam there went the crank ,friend was looking at a 318 bad engine, had 1500 hours or so,i know i've heard people go 2500 hours and i suppose if you baby em you can but i'd say on average 1500 is about time.and when i did my bobcat about 8 years ago the crank was 650.00
