I was wondering what you have to do to unhook the governor on a 14 HP Briggs & Stratton over head valve engine. Would it do any harm to the engine I need more power for pulling any tips? Please let me know how to unhook the governor and any more little tips on how to get more power out of the engine. Thanks

DO NOT unhook the governor !!! If you do so you will have very short lived power before a big BOOM . What are trying to pull ? I can think of no tractor this engine would be on where 14 hp is not more than enough to damage a transaxle.
