Having trouble adjusting the carb on a 1250 Cub Cadet. Carb was dirty after setting for some time, and I've cleaned it. Does anyone know what is a good starting point for jet adjustments? Thanks
I have a 1000 that runs like a top and I'm not about to adjust on it, 'cause I'd probably mess it up.

A good starting point is to screw the adjustments in till they just seat.NOT TIGHT.Then back out 1 1/2 turns.Adj from there + - about1/8 turns and it should run good if all else is correct.
