This garden tractor is a early to mid 90's machine with twin cyls. It sat for about a year when I finally had some time to tinker with it some. I rebuilt the carb because it was leaking around the integrated fuel pump on the carb. When I tried to start it, it would not draw fuel into the bowl assembly. It runs with a splach of fuel down to throat, and also will run a bit if I fill the fuel bowl up, but does not draw fuel from the tank into the bowl. I ordered and installed a NEW carb a few days ago, and also this same problem is happening again. No fuel to the internals of the carb. Fuel flow is good to the fuel pump and its leaking some there but still no flow into the bowl assy. I installed the air cleaner until and hoses too thinking that its not pulling vaccum but that made no difference. Any ideas??? Thanks

FIXED! Problem was that the fuel line from the tank enters the engine bay from the right side (facing from the front of the tractor) and an emmissions connection enters from the left side. One would think that the fuel input would then attach to the fitting on the right side of the carb, and emmissions on the left. Wrong. I pulled the new carb off and switched the fuel line to the left fitting anf the fuel bowl filled up. Tractor runs like a champ now. Things would have been easier had I been able to find my users guide.... thanks for the reply's.
