Would like anyone who knows about Beaver Garden
Tractors made in Stratford, CT with a BAIRD tag on them to contact me. Trying to find out more
on identifying certain models, and how long the
company was in business, etc. Appreciate your
time. THANKS!

Adam,
Do I have to become a Yahoo member to view that
site?? It appears I have too. Would rather not.
Get enough junk mail. Thoughts? Thank you.

Hello, I would have wrote you sooner, but I"ve been out of town.
Yes you have to become a Yahoo member to view the group. However, I know Yahoo very well and love it!!! I own two groups at Yahoo myself, and junk mail is never a problem. The best bet would be to sign up for a yahoo e-mail address first. (tractorjennifer@yahoo.com) for example. Yahoo, during the course of it"s sign up might ask you for an alt email address, just don"t answer the question. Once you"ve set up your free e-mail, you"re a yahoo member.... You don"t have to get the free e-mail, but it is mice, free, and very useful. Then, just go and sign up for the group. When signing up for the group, you can select no e-mail, individual e-mails, special notices, or daily digest. These settings are for the group message board.. In other words, do you want the every message from the group to show up at your mail box, a daily summery, or only special notices from the group moderator... As I recall, the Beaver groups message board does not move that fast, and if you want to "be in the loop" daily digest, or individual e-mails might be good... Keep in mind that if you leave the setting "no e-mail" and important post from someone else may never be noticed... (like "I found a great place to get original tires)
Yahoo is a great place, it"s where all the good groups exist....
