Do not see any reason for this to occur as flywheel turns fine, nothing bent or obstructed underneath. But have replaced 3 pins so far, lined up splines with new key reassemble, try to start and pin shears?????
Any help??

The torque spec is 55 to 65 ft-lbs for the flywheel nut.

As mentioned it has to be "tight". Also use quality keys and absolutely no oil or the shaft. Also be sure washer in on the right way.

If your are talking about the flywheel key, and it's repeatedly shearing, you're not tightening the flywheel enough. if you post the engine model number, someone may know a torque value for it, but it's gotta be TIGHT!!!
