Frankie , The D-250 made from 1976 to 1981 (dropped due to poor sales and service parts) weighed in at 1,165 pounds , the engine was rated at 19.5 horse power because the engine was a Reanult industrial gas engine made in France and the French tax horse power so to keep costs down the rated version was only 19.5 but actual horse power was 28 . This tracor also had a German made 10 speed transmission with a differential lock . To drive one is unforgetable ..... biggest dang garden tracor I ever saw ! Bill in Richmond , Va.

The biggest was the D series with the 250 being the biggest Hp at 24. Any of the models from the 160 to the 250 were large. THey had snow blower, snow blade, rear 3pt finishing mowers and brush cutters. Tiller, land plow, tandem disk, back blade, box scrapers, loaders and backhoes for them too. The best place to get info on the is www.http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DGROUPWHEELHORSE/ .

the D250 is the biggest Wheel Horse ever made. It has a 25hp 4 cylinder water cooled engine. It is a Renault engine, parts are very difficult to get for the engine. Heck of a tractor, big heavy ugly broot, but it will put almost any other garden tractor to shame. Has a 3 point available, so any cat 0 implemnts will work. snow blade.

I'm not sure, but the D series are certainly big and chunky. The D250 has a 25 horse engine, three point, pto, individual rear brakes, etc. I have a D200 and love it.
