I have attained a lawn tractor made by Brillion Iron Works out of Brillion, WI. According to the only company employee that knew anything about them, they made them from "58-"61. It has a 7 hp Briggs on it with chain drive.

Does anyone know anything about these machines or anyone who has one? I know parts are no longer available any longer, but any restoration tips would be great.

Have you contacted the Ariens company, they are what used to be Brillion Iron Works, and I would think they would have the company history that could be accessed.

Actaully both companies are in separate buisnesses about a mile apart. Brillion today is still in farm machines and industrial casting. Ariens bought out Gravely several years ago. Go to Brillion Iron works website and email them. Ariens may be of help as their relation started Brillion Iron Works way back. Gruetts at Potter WI has a website too and as an old dealer maybe would know someone.Otherwise looking around Brillions website try their library. cmoede@esls.lib.wi.us. Brillion is in Calumet Co. in WI. Hope some help here.Bill
