I have bolen 1050 Model 192-01. Serial 14599
would like to know what year it is.I have a TRA12D Engine,,Serial4820562,Spec #33560 that has been overhauled .But the solid state ignition has been removed. My question is How the stator is mounted to engine. I have a instruction book from Wisconsin engines, but the drawing in the book appears to be backward to my stator. Also is there a way to test stator before installing ? I dont know whether mine is good or not .Or is there a upgrade or after market that I can purchase??

I also am looking for the tine and hood extension to go on my Bolen Tiller Model 18614-01.
I also have picture of stator but dont know how to attach it

If you service the older Bolens models using 12 - 14 HP Wisconsin engines, I am sure that you are familiar with their ignition module. If you have tried to buy any for service as of late, no doubt that you have learned that Wisconsin has discontinued them.

Having owned one of these tractors and working in electronics, I developed my own ignition module and have them available for sale. If you have any requirements, just let me know.

Regards,

Dale

Ed your Bolens 1050 is a 1966 model and it should have a TR10D 10 hp Wisconsin engine in it. I cant help with the stator but I do have a manual that I can copy and send to you.
