Just wondering if anybody has a model 234 tractor. Since they are only 17 horses I'm assuming they are classified as a garden tractor. I've got one my Dad had after he passed away. Its diesel with a 3 pt hitch. Just wondering what others use theirs for if anyone out there has one. I don't know if there are alot of them around. Were there implements made just for this series of tractors.

I have a 234. I bought it new in 1987. It has 250 hrs on it. I do not use it much but that is not because I do not like it. I love it!!! It is 18 hp not 17. It handles sweet. I put an IH-5QA loader(4'bucket) on it a few years ago and that really makes a tractor out of it. With the 4WD, rear wheel weights and hydro you can move bunches of material. I also had a 3pt 5'Woods finish mower on it and it handles it well. It will also handle a 6' speed mover although makes it smoke a little when you roll dirt over the top and around the sides.
Like I said, I love this thing but if someone out there would want to buy it, I would like to sell and buy a 75 to 100 hp to use around the farm as I have outgrown it. I have pictures.

There are alot of knowledgable people on the Farmall Discussion board here at YT. I recall threads about 234's.
