I'm just curious how hard it is to find a snow/dozer blade that fits on my 1961 model 70 cub. I'm restoring the tractor but I can't see just lettin it sit around and look pretty (especially since the junk nowadays cannot hold a candle to this tractor). Anyway, if any one has some good pics of the blade that is meant for that tractor I would love to see them so I can build one to match. Or if I can find one at a good price I'll buy it. Thanks alot everyone.

Adam, Ray Weaver, over in Shoeneck, (north of Ephrata) in Lancaster County had a whole pile of Cub Cadet snow blades when I was over there last fall.

I see blades on Ebay all the time. The blades are 42" in width. There is an under carrrige or sub frame that goes with the blade. This sub frame bolts or connections to the Cub Frame and the blade. Make sure the sub frame is for a "narrow" frame Cub like yours. The blades I see on Ebay run about $150.00 more or less depending upon condition.

I'll look around some more. I think I can build a replica one for under 50 Bucks if I can see what they look like. If not I'll just figure it out. I see the hole's on the sub frame That are tapped I can build off of them if need be. Thanks for the responses.
