My father has a Big 10, we think it is a 66, It runs great but is certainly not restored. He has a mower deck, a snow blower, and a non AC scraper blade. He is the second owner, He bought it from the previous owner of his house. He has used it for maybe 15 years with out major troubles. He is now considering selling it and I"d like to by it. What is a fair price? I don"t want to rip my Dad off, yet he"d probably sell it to me cheap. I think he paid $900 15 years ago, and he always thought that was too much.

You might want to check out simpletractors.com and ask those guys as the allis and simplicity at least of that era are the same. I would offer him $500 if it is in OK shape but except for paint and a few items here and there coupled with the accessries that it has. It is worth what someone will pay for it...

I have two B-10s both purchased in a non-restored cond about two-three years ago.

One came with a deck, the other came with a tiller. I paid $300 for the one with a tiller, and $350, for the other.

They cleaned-up real nice.

I should mention that I gave the pictured tractor a rattle-can paint job, a home-made seat, and lights from the tractor-supply.
