Can anyone tell me how to remove the clutch that drives the lawnmower? Does it just pull off the shaft or is there a snap ring of some sort that has to be removed first? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Remove the 3/8-16 cap screw that holds the fan blade on, soak the hole where you removed the bolt from with penetrating oil and also the space ahead of the flywheel screen, turn the engine over to distribute the penetrating oil, take (2) screwdrivers, one on each side of the engine in the space ahead of the flywheel screen, try twisting the screwdrivers with an adjustable wrench and try to work the clutch forward, you may have to use the screwdriver as a wedge and pound on it with a hammer to drive it forward, most come off real easy, every once in the while you get a real stubborn one, it should slide right off the stub shaft.
