is a cub 127 more desirable than a 128 or 129?
the only difference i know of is that the 127 is narrow , and the other two are wide.

You are correct on the frame widths. Both the 127 & 129 are hydro's while the 128 is a gear drive.

The wide frame 1x8/1x9 series will accept both old S/G and newer bendix starter flywheel engines . The 1x7 frame doesn't without modifications (like on a 147). Also, the wide frames have a tunnel cover to access the hydro cooling fan and driveshaft coupler and make maintenance easier. Kenny

a friend of mine has a 127 that a guy wants to trade a runninng 128 or the running 129 for the 127 , even if the 127 had no motor.
so i just wondered if there was something collectable about them. maybe this guy just needs a 127 to complete his colection.
