I have a 127 Cub Cadet that starts easily but has no power. The longer it runs, the more power it has. After about 30 minutes it runs like a champ. Recently checked the valve settings, new plug, new battery, cleaned carburetor. Any ideas as to what's going on?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like it could be running lean, maybe a dirty main jet or not properly adjusted.
Air leak? Does it run better with a little choke while its warming?

Sounds to me more like a valve job needs to be done. The kohler engines are famous for losing power when the valves are dirty. A simple compression test should tell you for sure. IF the compression leaks down after cranking then most likely it is the valves or bad head gasket. Take a look and let us know your progress.
