Help!
I need info on Bantam tractors. I have one and don't know much about it. Any literature, info on mechanics, color, etc. would be appreciated.
Thanks

A friend has one of them! his is orange or yellow, not sure which-haven't seen it in several years. Has one wheel on front. Also the reverse mechanism. I had one, built as an amusement park ride. Had no reverse, and just a bar to engage the engine and drive belt. it ran on a dirt winding track at a local amusement park, as a kid's ride. 3 h.p., if i remember right. Color was red and black. Had a steering wheel, which turned a rod to the front wheel. Was belt drive to a jack-shaft, and belt drive from there to differential, or rear axle. Been too long-memory fades. Gave it to a nephew who ran it to death, then buried it in his back yard, where it reposes today! Rustyj

You are already at the place to find something out about you tractor. Check out " The Tractor Shed" under Related Sites at the lower left corner of this page. It may help you and surf the site itself by typing bantam in at the search box on the upper right corner. I didn't go thru it the articles myself.
