I helped a buddy drag this donated Jacobsen out of an Alaska field; the engine number appears to be from a Kohler 14hp manufactured in 1986. Does anyone have any idea of what model this is and/or where to go for parts? Thanks! Jon

Jon, JT is correct in that you have a Greens King built by Jacobsen. I worked for a company in Grandview MO back in 78 that was a dealer for these units and other golf course equipment. Everything on your mower is driven by hydrolics. Good luck in getting it up and running again. These units were used to mow bent grass on greens to a higth of 1/8th inch. No good for mowing your yard as they cann't be set high enough.

Jon,
Looks like you have found yourself a Jacobson greens mower or something like that. You can go to www.textronturf.com, find a distributor from there. Parts for that thing are probably going to be real expensive, so be prepared.

JT, thanks for the advice. I'll try that website. We have one blessing, that's another parts machine in the same field, and we're going to go scavenge it. I bet the parts are going to be expensive if we have to buy new stuff. Thanks again! Jon

Izzat a 3 wheel(one in back)pro type rig? If so looks like a"Honey Bee" which used to be built here. When Jacobsen bought the Company along w/Pug,I believe they changed the name..can't recall right off hand what the Jake HBs were called.

No, actually there are 4 wheels on this machine. I know it looks a little "rough" but if we can locate a parts supplier it'll look like new before long. Thanks for your help! Jon
