Couple of questions, Has any one out there got a good method of cleaning out gas tank that has set for few years and also is there a easy way of freeing up a stuck intake valve without removing the head on a k321A? Thanks for any help

I have had good luck with Acetone. Does a good job of cleaning.

On freeing up the Valve, I have used PB Blaster (or alt - Kroil) and sprayed that on the valve guides through the breather. Let it set and then work the valve up & down.

I also use Marvel Mystery Oil and I found it to work good. I put a cap full in every fill up.

Fill it about a quarter way with kerosene, then throw in some nuts and bolts. Put the cap on, and shake it. Keep flushing it till its clean. There's some stuff available at yer local motorcycle shop called "Kreme". You coat the inside of the tank, and it hardens to a plastic like finish. You'll never have rust inside again.
As for the exhaust valve, go ahead and pull that head. Take the carb off, and shoot some of your favorite peentrating oil in there on the valve stem. Keep working he valve up and down till it's freed up. Scrape the carbon out of the combustion chamber while yer at it. And scrape off the top of the piston. Old Kholers are great for building up carbon that leads to damaging preignition.
Get a new head gasket, torque the head, and you'll be good to go.Use some Marvel Mystery oil in the fuel for a while to keep the valves nice and lubricated in their guides after you get it running too. Might want to rebuild the carb while you have it off too.
Good Luck.
