Ok the 147 I purchased for at the least, parts for the running 106 wont move. It ran with the previous owner who thought it was a dozer and used it to try and push stumps. While pushing stumps it stoped pushing. Yes I know its yellow but it dosnt say cat on the side! So heres my question is there any type of key way that sheers before REAL damage occurs in the pump or trany? I talked to a guy last night who told me to check the roll pins on the axle. My friend and I are hoping that it is something like this. Rember it ran fine before my friend sold it to this other guy. Our goal is to be able to roll it into my shed or at least on the trailer to get it home.

Thanks for all the info everyone has given me its been a real help Vince

In Addition to the previous, the Hydro (HyTran) Oil could be nasty, the Hydro Filter is plugged, or the Check Valves are stuck.

Obviously, fluid replacement should be considered along with a new filter. The check valves can be removed, cleaned, and make sure the internal components (ball & springs) are free to travel.

Along with the previous advice, this should get the Hydro to work.

Theres a spirol pin that connects the driveshaft to the hydro pump that can shear.

Just inside the hydro pump is a gerotor pump that is driven by a steel pin through the pump shaft. sometimes that pim, or the gear break. That pump is the "charge pump" for the hydro.

Other internal hydro damage, even through abuse, is RARE.
