AYP Garden Tiller Question

Have inherited a rear tine tiller made by American Yard Products, model TR500D... from the Briggs engine date about a '95 or '96 model. Tiller must have been sitting out because there's a little bit of water seeping out of bottom of gear case. I don't see a way to add any gear oil to the case, nor is there any grease fittings or anything. Should there not be some lube in the gearcase? Don't have owners manual. Would feel better if I could get some gear oil in there and displace some of the moisture. Any ideas?

The transmission may use the " 00 " double ought grease. You have to split the case to add grease. My sister had one that drawed enough moisture to rust the shifter shaft where she could not shift the tiller. I had to split the case to clean it up and add grease.
