I have an Ariens rocket tiller that my dad purchased in the 70's. The engine was taken off at some point and the forward and reverse sheaves were lost. I am putting it back into service and I have aquired a 7hp engine the previous engine was 5hp so I cannot use replacement sheaves from a Ariens for several reasons. Can anybody out there tell me the aprox. outside diameter of the 2 sheaves. I have access to hundreds of sizes of sheaves so I am sure I can make something work if I can get sheaves that are similar in size. Thanks in advance for the help.

Is that a rear-tine tiller? I fixed one up for a friend a couple of years ago, and could measure the sheaves within a few days for you, if that is what you have.

Wow that was a fast response Thanks! Yes that is a rear tine tiller. That would be great if you can measure them for me. You dont have to be exact and no big hurry I am waiting on some other parts anyway. Thanks again for your help.
