I need help w/getting a Kohler commander engine running.

Specifically, I know it runs as I got it offa Sears rider and it was runnning when I took it off. The engine has the safety switches which I want to bypass. I don't need them for what I want to use the engine for.

I have all the wiring and switch. I just want to make it as simple as possible w/o having to inable the safety modules.

What you are calling a safety module may be the ignition advance module which needs switched 12 volts for the ignition to work. Buy a Kohler service manuel at your local Kohler dealer to find out how to wire the engine so it will run.
