I recently purchased a Roper 12hp Lawn Tractor.( Mdel LT120BR ) I am looking for General information on Roper Tractors and the Manufacture. The tractor came with a snow blade and all the installation hardware, the only thing missing are the instructions on installing it. .

Roper was bought out and re-named American Yard Products.
They build Husqvarna, Poulan and many other mower related lines. I don't know of availbility of older parts.
If you have part numbers, give it a try!

i used to warehouse mowers for roper and knew them quite well at the time. that was during the mid to late 80s. they were bought out by a company named electrolux (not the vaccuum cleaner company), and electrolux did not want the mower division so they sold it to general electric, who changed the name to american outdoor products. their main plant is in orangeburg, s.c. you could contact them there and probably get the information you want. good luck.
