Im looking at a 1450 that is missing the engine side covers. Are they available somewhere, and at what kind of $. This CC has a mower and tiller, not running for several years, what would be a realistic offer?

To expand on what R. Bedell said. He is correct about how bad to want it. The deck if no holes from rust and is solid, good spindles, blades, baffle... anywhere from $50.00 to $200.00 (this is based on what two gentlemen I know sell the decks for). Tiller should be all complete with all necessary linkage and in overall good shape... i.e. good tines, straight sheet metal, good gear boxes.... $150-$250. The tractor... rough shape... i.e. bad tires, steering completely worn out, sitting outside for years, minus pieces... $50 - ? . In general good shape, missing side covers other wise complete yet stored in side and won't take much to get it running... $100- $250. Items that add value are the spring assist, three point hitch, Hydraulic lift.

The side covers are needed for proper air flow/cooling of the engine. They are easily found on e-Bay, and are currently in the $50 range for a set.

The Engine Side Panels are often seen on Ebay, ranging from $50-$100.

Price of the tractor is dependent on condition and the "how bad you want it" factor.
