I bought one a number of years ago for my Kohler K341 and then found out that it wouldn't work with a battery ignition system. I put it away and went back to points and condensor.
I now have another application for it with a magneto ignition. I found the module but I don't have the instructions. I found the wiring diagram but I have questions on the parts that came with the module. There is a small galvanized mounting bracket with 5 holes, a small rectangular galvanized steel plate and a square piece of gray/black paper. Can anyone let me know what these other parts are for or how to use them?

I think that module was made in Taiwan or China
by the Showa Denso Company LTD. You can email them at showadenso@seed.tw to see if they can help
or can send some literature. Hal

the part with the holes is to mount it.I think the steel square was a gauge for the magneto(not sure) and the plastic or paper rectangle is for magneto to flywheel gauge,as I remember it.

I have not used the Atom module. I mostly use Sten's Mega-Fire unit. I think the parts you are questioning are used for mounting the module. You may or may not use or need them. It depends on the engine you will be using the module on.
