For a winter project I recently purchased a 147 Cub Cadet with a "50A" International Rotory Mower. I just purchased a new mower deck belt and a PTO belt from a Cub Cadet Dealer (25 miles away). I know for sure I have the wrong deck belt. I believe he gave me a belt for a 48" deck. When I called him back, he doubled check and finally said he couldn't help me because it was the 50A was a Internalional" deck. Does anyone know what the length of belt should be? I am guessing it should be around 84". He gave me a 80" belt for the PTO and I am wondering if this is right also.

well considering the 147 didnt come with a 50" deck, im not sure on the pto belt, the deck belt is part number 954-3005. the pto belt, and according to my book, the pto belt should be 78" long, part # IH-59971-C1. hope that helps some

That is a darn good Question...!!!

The 147 would normally have the 48" deck under it. I can't say if there is any literature out there (at least I haven't seen it) for the combination that you have. I'll look through my literature and see if I can find something.

Other than no printed data, measuring is the only other option.
