You Cub 682 was made in March of 1981.

Yes on the front blade. There was a 42" or 54" model available. The one from your 1650 should mount right up also.

Speed up....??? You will have to be more specific..!!

What I meant....are you talking about an Engine Speed up problem or a "ground" speed up problem..??

Usually the problem with ground travel speed up is due to the tension on the Hydro lever is inadequate.
The friction disk needs to be adjusted to proper tension.

third party image

Both the 682 and 1650 are wide frame Cubs. Attachments should easily transfer from one to another.

The only difference maybe the "lift rod". If that is the case. You can make your own. Simply drive the Cub up and onto some 2 x 4 or 6 or 8" lumber. Leave the blade down. Put the lift lever all the way forward. Measure the distance between point A & B.

Lift rods can be made of several types of steel stock. Rod, tubing, and flat stock.
